In addition to drops that reduce intraocular pressure, taking 250 mg of oral Citicoline daily can reduce
visual field defects. Magnovision sessions performed consecutively for 10 days and repeating these
sessions every 4-6 months provide improvements in the visual field. In addition to Magnovision activating
the ion channels and turning neurons in OFF mode to ON mode, it can also be explained by citicoline
iontophoresis. Protocol studies are ongoing in our glaucoma unit.
